By those standards, I guess the Bible should be rated "R" as well. :^)
My blog was rated "G" so does that mean I don't touch on hard hitting issues?
My blog was rated PG-13 because I had the word "poop" 8x and the word "gun" as in radar gun 1x. I have 4 children ages 6 and under...somehow "poop" just comes up in our house! :) So, you don't need to have hard-hitting issues. The ironic thing is some Disney movies - rated G - have words I won't let my children repeat. Go figure.
At first I was a little amused by the thought of a blog rating service. This was the first I'd even heard of it! I could see some limited uses, but it relies on trusting the standards and structure behind the service. No doubt we would all have different opinions as to what would be permissible and what wouldn't - it's what adds further interest to this posting and comments.
Has this service been of any real use to anyone here though or is it something just of passing interest and entertainment value?
